Notice of Absorption of appci corporation
IMAGICA GEEQ Inc. announces that it will completely absorb appci corporation, a subsidiary of IMAGICA GEEQ Inc.’s parent company IMAGICA GROUP Inc., effective January 1, 2025. Details below:
1. Reasons Behind the Absorption
IMAGICA GEEQ was founded in April 2023 to serve as the gaming industry arm of IMAGICA GROUP. By providing trusted, high-quality services spanning the game development value chain from end to end, IMAGICA GEEQ creates value exceeding its customers’ expectations and aims to drive the further evolution of the global gaming industry.
Since its establishment in 2007, appci has gained a strong reputation both domestically and internationally for its high-quality game software targeting children and families. In February 2024, appci became a member of the IMAGICA GROUP when IMAGICA GROUP acquired 100% of its shares.
Recently, competition in the global gaming market has intensified, and users expect more from games’ narratives, visuals and other aspects. This has led to growing demand for the development of higher quality game software. Up until now, IMAGICA GEEQ and appci have worked in close concert within the IMAGICA GROUP, providing end-to-end gaming services to clients around the world. However, in order to maintain a sustainable competitive advantage within the gaming market and accelerate its growth into the global gaming sphere, IMAGICA GEEQ determined that uniting appci under its management was essential, and this absorption was decided upon.
With this absorption, IMAGICA GEEQ will enhance its ability to acquire new customers and expedite decision making. By bolstering its investment in the game development ecosystem, IMAGICA GEEQ will promote integrated management of the game production value chain, and it will endeavor to further develop and expand its gaming industry business.

3. Company Status Post-Absorption
At the conclusion of this absorption, IMAGICA GEEQ will remain, and appci will be dissolved as of January 1, 2025.
４. Transactional Practices
With this absorption, IMAGICA GEEQ will inherit all of appci’s rights and obligations. Any client contracts originally signed by appci will remain valid and transfer to IMAGICA GEEQ as of January 1, 2025. For all other issues regarding transactional practices, IMAGICA GEEQ will contact clients separately.
